Who can start?
- You are minimum 12 years old and not yet 18 years old (a derogation is possible for 11-year-olds from the spring break).
- You have not lived in Belgium continuously for more than one year.
- Dutch is not your mother tongue or home language.
- You don't know enough Dutch to take classes in a Dutch-speaking school.
- You have taken classes in Dutch for less than 9 months (July and August do not count). The school may make an exception to this.
What do you bring?
- student's residence permit, passport or identity card
- diploma, certificates, reports
- medical information
- vaccination booklet (if possible)
At boarding school?
Your home during the school week
St. Martin's Schools offers boys and girls from the school group the opportunity to stay at the boarding school during the school week. At our boarding school, we strive to be a warm and welcoming home for students who do not go home during the school week. Our educators and counselors have extensive experience in guiding young people. We like to put that experience at the service of you as a student. We do not only follow up on your studies. No, also for a good chat or sports and games we like to throw everything into the battle.
Living together = living together
At boarding school, you live, eat and study with your fellow students. Different people, backgrounds and schools: being together is enriching. Dealing with each other on a daily basis teaches you to be open to others and to consider who you are living with.
A modern living environment
Your own room has a modern look. It also has all the comforts you need. In this way, you will soon feel at home. In the living area you can find a cozy sitting area with widescreen projection, new laptops and a music system. And yes, the volume can sometimes be turned up a notch. A soccer, volleyball and basketball court, a gym, a movie room, a reading room and several other nooks and crannies ensure that you have everything at your fingertips to never get bored.
Fun activities
Fun activities color your days. Are you sporty and like a healthy challenge? Do you feel like playing a game of soccer, jogging, playing badminton or dancing? At the boarding school there are always plenty of candidates who want to get involved with you in a fun and sporty way. You can also take on sporting and cultural challenges outside the boarding school. By playing sports, playing, being together, you push the limits of yourself and others.
