Learning Dutch

In OKAN, we work with the development goals for OKAN. Students go through 3 stages during the OKAN year.

  1. In a first stage, you evolve from absolute newcomer to someone who is approachable in Dutch.
  2. In a second phase, you evolve toward self-reliance in Dutch.
  3. In a third phase, the follow-up process takes shape. You will attend a trial and orientation period. That is, you take the regular classes along for one or more subjects. This can happen within the school or in another school. After OKAN, we will continue to work on your knowledge of Dutch. A follow-up coach follows you up further.
